Davy's Wine Bars recently completed a 4 week trial of WineStation at its City Flogger Bar in Fenchurch Street. The 8 bottle unit was installed to evaluate its impact on the sale of fine wines by the glass. In just six weeks, sales of wine wines by the glass lifted so significantly that Chairman James Davy authorised the purchased of the WineStaion System for The City Flogger and intends to roll out further WineStations in other Davy's locations over the next 18 months.
"We experienced a very significant lift in sales of fine wine both by the glass and the bottle" said Martin Justin, Manager at The City Flogger.
The City Flogger is situated around the corner from Monument Tube Station and is one of Davy's traditional styled wine Bars, with candle lit tables.
Traditional English Fayre is served, with hot specials from 12 midday until close daily and a selection of bar snacks is also available to compliment the fine wines served by WineStation.
